How is Anthony Nolan funded?
Anthony Nolan rely on financial support from individual and organisations. However, their main source of income is from the fees they charge for donor searches on our register, for patients both in the UK and overseas. They are experts in tissue-typing and one of the leading authorities on stem cell transplantation, so they also offer molecular analysis for medical professionals.
Anthony Nolan’s total turnover is £22 million per annum, and £6 million of this is voluntary income.
Will I definitely donate once on the register?
Should I make a donation to Leeds Marrow or Anthony Nolan?
It doesn’t matter, all money that comes to Leeds Marrow is given directly to Anthony Nolan. We are funded through a grant from Anthony Nolan, so we don’t take any of your donated money away. We’d of course like you to donate through Leeds Marrow so we can show how much we’ve raised for Anthony Nolan.
